We firmly believe that school and family working closely together will give your child the very best educational opportunities. Therefore we hope that parents who choose to send their child to Lyncrest will become involved in the school community and will support their child’s learning and enjoy the family ethos.
We are the only local school which has a nursery class and then one class in each year group to enable your child to have the very best education in a small traditional school, usually found in a village.

From September 2015, there is a new requirement for the school to publish the register of Governors’ interests. The Governors at Lyncrest Primary School do not have any pecuniary interests which are in any way connected to the school. They are not related to any staff at Lyncrest Primary School.
Inclusion Quality Mark
In February, 2017, we successfully retained the Inclusion Quality Mark at Flagship level for the second consecutive time. This is the highest achievement within the IQM award scheme. This recognition is testament to the hard work of the entire school community and reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment to the learning, safety and well-being of all children who attend Lyncrest Primary School.
