The Parent Teacher Friends Association for Lyncrest Primary School is a group of volunteers who support the school by raising as much money as we can to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences for the children.
Over the course of a typical year we help to organise events such as discos, film nights, mufti days, craft workshops, quizzes and not forgetting our wonderful end of year summer fete! More recently, we have also registered with three innovative online shopping reward schemes, click the links to find out more:
This combines the spending power of parents, guardians and carers in order to boost school budgets. By registering and linking your credit/debit card, every time you make a purchase with participating retailers you and your school will benefit through an innovative Card-Linked Rewards scheme.
Name labels that simply stick on and stay on – no sewing or ironing required. Use to label uniform, P.E. kit, shoes, bags, water bottles, lunchboxes even medical items, allergies or dietary requirements. Remember to use the school code 12631.
Turn your everyday online shopping into free donations for our school. Just start your online shopping first at easyfundraising, then shop as normal. Retailers will then make a small donation to say “thank you”.
In recent years we have supported the school through funding for:
- £2000 of new books for the whole school
- The defibrillator in memory of Wendy Bluck, a much-loved member of staff.
- A whole school circus skills day
- Y6 leavers hoodies during the pandemic
- Subsidized school trips and educational visitors
All the money you help us raise goes back into the school to benefit every child.
