Hello Visitor,

Brass Concert

The children in year 5 and 6 gave a fantastic brass concert this week. They are progressing really well and we are very proud to have all of our children, in upper key stage 2, learning a musical instrument.

School Shoes

We were all very impressed with the school uniform this week. The children are looking really smart. 100% of the children were wearing the correct clothing. 93% of the children were wearing black school shoes. We are really going to push for all children in the correct school uniform into 2018- with all children wearing black shoes. Let’s be 100% united in school uniform

Parking, before and after school

We want to be good neighbours within our community and it has come to our attention that during the morning and afterschool drop off and pick up, some of the parking is not being done in a considerate and responsible manner. Please take care to park considerately to maintain positive relationships with our neighbours and to ensure the safety of the children.

Christmas Tree For Free!

We have an amazing Christmas tree at school, which we are going to decorate and keep in our school hall until the 20th of December (the last day of term). If any family would like to take this tree home on the 20th of December and keep it loved for the rest if the Christmas period they are very welcome. Simply enquire in at the office. We have one tree and it is first come first served!

School Productions

Sign up sheets for tickets for the school Christmas productions are available in your child’s classroom. You will be able to sign up for two tickets per family.

There may be further tickets available and we will let you know about these nearer the time.

Also if you would like to use the crèche for any of the evening performances, you must book this in at the office prior to any of the events.

Treat Shop

The School will open the PTFA treat shop on Friday the 15th of December at 3:15, taking place in the Qube. There will be a variety of treats for you and your child to purchase and the proceeds of this will go to helping the school with projects such as repairing our pirate ship and buying new equipment for our outdoor spaces.

Cancelling Hot Dinners

From January, if a hot meal is no longer required but is not cancelled by 9:30 there will be a charge.

Wednesday : Violins and Brass, 1:00pm Year 3 Carol singing at Argyle House, Limelight Dance Academy
Friday –     Celebration Assembly, Football Club

After School club

There will be NO After School Club on Wednesday 20th December (last day of term)
