  Newsletter 21 February 2018

Hello Visitor,

Sports Day

Thank you to all families for supporting Sports Day today. We think it was our best sports day yet!
We were very pleased that all pupils were so supportive to their teams, and really congratulated and encouraged each other for their efforts. The pupils were beautifully behaved and had fun and a healthy day. A big thank you to all of the teachers and teaching assistants too for all their hard work in running the event.

PTFA Treasure Hunt

A big thank you to Mr and Mrs Robinson for giving up their time to put together such a clever and entertaining treasure hunt, for both adults and children. Families who took part had an enjoyable and brain teasing day out, followed by a warm friendly greeting on return to school. They then enjoyed a cuppa and a catch up with the other teams. Super fun! Everyone is looking forward to the next one as they are such a good family day out.

Lyncrest Summer Reading Challenge!

We are always trying to encourage children to enjoy reading and to further encourage this, we are setting them a challenge over the summer!
Your task is to try and read a book in the most interesting place you can think of…

Take a photo of this happening and bring it back in September with the book you were reading.

Prizes will be rewarded for the most interesting photograph!
