Hello Visitor,

potatoes
This week we dug up some potatoes and ate them with home grown mint. Delicious!

There is plenty of mint growing in the Peace Garden, just help yourselves if you need some for your own potatoes!

Dates for your diary

  • Today: Annual reports to parents will be sent home.
  • July 11th Lyncrest transfer activities for preparing children to move to their new class.
  • As it is transition day there will be NO Normal Nursery session, just sessions for the pupils who will attend in September.
  • July 12th Parents invited to look at Art displays based on the style of famous artists at 3.30pm, discuss reports and look at your children’s exercise books 4pm -5pm.
  • July 12th: Nursery Sports Day.
  • Nursery parents please bring your child at their normal time. Picnic lunch for all at 11.45am – 12.45pm.
  • Races at 11.00am and 1.15pm
  • Friday 14th July: School Sports Day (settled weather permitting.)
  • If you have not returned your forms, please do so on Monday. This is vitally important for the safety of all pupils. Remember there will be no hot dinners on 14.7.17
  • Friday 14th July: PTFA Disco. (Letters home today)
  • Thursday 20th July: 9.15am Nursery Leavers Assembly.
  • Year Six Leavers Assembly: 21st July 2017, 9am.
  • NO LYNCREST LOUNGE (Afterschool Club) on 19th, 20th and 21st July.
  • In September the breakfast club will be £2.50p a session. This is a “not for profit” club and unfortunately charging £2 a session was not covering the cost of the food and three members of staff. Having spoken to local headteachers, our pricing is still competitive and we feel that this is excellent value for childcare from 8am until 8.50am.

Reminder: The gate by the Nursery will be out of use in September.

Toddlers Group: starts 14th September.
