Hello Visitor,

Grendon

Grendon Residential Visit

A huge thank you to Miss Munley, Mrs Harrison, Miss Smith and Mr Bowden for taking 23 Year Six pupils to Grendon. The visit was a huge success and we do hope that all the pupils enjoyed their outdoor experiences.

Summer Fete

Thank you for all your support with our Fete on Saturday. Over £2000 was raised which is a magnificent achievement.

Thank you to all staff, parents and friends who helped with a stall, the PTFA really appreciates your time and efforts for the children. Thank you to all pupils who performed a musical item or danced around the maypole – you were wonderful!

There are a few leftovers which will be for sale in the school hall on Tuesday at 3.15pm. It would be amazing if we could raise a few more pounds, so please pop in and have a look!

Unnamed Lost Property will also be in the hall if you wish to take a look!

French Day

The children all got really enthused by French Day. We all had an exciting time and spoke a lot of French! The children also tried out many activities to extend their understanding of France. Using their French language to buy ice creams with euros, was an activity that was particularly popular!

Reception Class

Timotay

Mrs Collyer has been working hard with a company called Timotay to design a new and improved outdoor area for the Reception class.

This is the wonderful plan, doesn’t it look great?

The work is going to begin in the Autumn Term and so from Tuesday September 5th, 2017, the route to the school playground will only be via the gate by the Main Entrance.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but this will be a greatly improved outdoor learning area for Reception pupils.
